To replace the oil seal on the right-hand side, remove the crankshaft sprocket and Woodruff key, measure and record the fitted depth of the oil seal. Remove the oil seal from the housing by using a screw driver or make a small hole in the oil seal and use a self tapping screw and pliers to remove oil seal without damaging the Crank shaft. Clean oil seal housing and the sealing surface of the crankshaft, make sure to install the new oil seal, with a Teflon lip, not to be oiled or marked, with a protective sleeve to prevent damage. Press the seal into the pump to the depth indicated on it using a suitable tube or socket, and remove the plastic sleeve, if applicable, before refitting the crankshaft sprocket. For the left hand oil seal, remove the flywheel, determine the fitted depth and take notes, and use a screwdriver or the drilling method to remove the old oil seal. Clean the housing and sealing surface, lubricate the new seal with engine oil and install it using a protective sleeve before pushing it into the housing. Remove the plastic sleeve if necessary and refit the flywheel. For the camshaft, first remove the camshaft sprocket and the inner timing belt cover if one is fitted, and then use a hooked instrument or the drilling method to remove the oil seal. Clean housing and sealing surface, make sure to install the new seal with a protective sleeve and press it into the housing with the noted depth. Finally, refit the camshaft sprocket and replace the timing belt, if required.
