Next, remove the windscreen wiper arms then the plenum cover and cover over the wiper motor if applicable, which means pressing in the centre pin, prising out the rivet and removing the cover. Disconnect the wiper motor wiring plug, then undo the four bolts to maneuver the wiper motor linkage from its position, remembering that the linkage is held by three bolts around the motor area, as well as one at the outside end. Carefully prize the linkage arm from the balljoint stud with a screwdriver, and for refitting purposes, take the measurement of the distance between the arm and the end stop.
