To remove the front washer motor, disconnect the negative battery cable and then remove the windshield washer bottle filler pipe. Use needlenose pliers to pull the washer motor out of the bottle, remove the wiring connector and hose and take the motor out. For installation, connect the hose and wiring to the washer motor, lubricate the end of the motor and filler pipe to make it easy to install and prevent the rubber grommet from being pushed into the bottle. Carefully place motor in the washer bottle opening without disturbing the grommet then insert filler pipe and fill washer bottle with appropriate solvent mixture then reconnect negative battery cable and check operation of motor. For the rear washer motor in wagons, disconnect the negative battery cable, then remove the motor from its bracket underneath the vehicle. To access and disconnect the wiring connector and hose, pull the pump downwards. To install, reinsert the washer pump into the bracket, re-attach the wiring connector and hose, and fill the washer bottle with the appropriate mixture of solvents, reconnect the negative battery cable, and check the operation of the washer motor.
