Remove the timing belt and camshaft sprocket then recover the sprocket locating key from the end of the camshaft. Carefully prise or pull the seal out of its place. Carefully take off the sealing cap from the left hand end of the cylinder head to expose the end of the inlet camshaft, taking care not to drop any debris into the camshaft oil return hole. Disconnect the wiring from the camshaft position sensor from the connector at the back of the engine compartment. Remove the screws and release the wiring harness guide from the end of the cylinder head. Undo the two screws and remove the camshaft position sensor housing from the left hand side of the cylinder head, undo the bolt and remove the sensor trigger wheel from the end of the exhaust camshaft.
