  To replace turn signal and parking lights on 1990-93 models, either unscrew the lens or disconnect bulb and socket assembly from the back of the lens housing and then pull up and support the hood. From inside the engine compartment, rotate the socket anti-clockwise to remove the bulb and socket assembly without disconnecting the electrical connection. Squeeze the bulb and twist it anti-clockwise to remove it. Before installing a new bulb, make sure that all the electrical contact surfaces are clean, and align the retaining pins appropriately. Insert the bulb and rotate it clockwise to lock it into position, and test the bulb for its functionality. For 1994-98 models, pull the lamp assembly out, press the tabs to release the bulb assembly, and turn the bulb to release it. Install a new bulb, making sure the gasket is there, and press the assembly down until the tabs are in place. For side marker lights, remove the bulb and socket assembly from the light, pull the bulb straight out, and make sure all the contact surfaces are clean before inserting the new bulb. For case of rear turn signal, brake and reverse lights in 240 sedan, open trunk, remove tail lamp cover, turn socket anti-clockwise to remove it and replace the bulb with proper orientation. In the 240 wagon, gain access to the bulbs by removing the spare tire cover or stowage cover then replace the bulbs in reverse order. For high mounted brake lights, sedans need a screwdriver to separate the cover, whilst wagons have depressions that need to be applied to for access to the bulb. For spooler mounted brake lights, take out the lens and bulb and install the new bulb and lens. For dome lights, carefully remove the cover lens, replace the bulb and make sure to clean the contacts before putting the cover lens back. For interior lights, depress the catch tab to remove the housing to replace the bulb. For door warning lamps and vanity mirrors, take off the lens, replace the bulb, and push the lens back in place. For the shift indicator lamp, disconnect the battery, remove the center console and change the bulb. For engine compartment and trunk lights, remove the retaining screws, change the bulb and replace the assembly. For license plate lights, slide the bulb housing to release it, replace the bulb and reinstall the housing.
