How to remove and refit a cylinder head for 2.0 litre 4-cylinder diesel engine on 2007 Volvo S40?

To remove the cylinder head, disconnect the battery, drain coolant and remove camshafts and rocker arms. Remove the turbocharger, wiring from it and thermostat housing. Gradually loosen cylinder head bolts, raise the head and recover the gasket. Cleaning surfaces, inspecting for damage and refitting with a new gasket and bolts.
