How to test and replace an ignition coil for distributorless ignition system on 1996 Volvo 960?

To test the ignition coil, remove the harness and measure resistance between 1 and 2 terminals; it should be approximately 1 ohm. If not, replace the coil. To take out, de-connect the battery, harness and retaining bolt and then raise the coil. Uninstall by reversing the following steps.
