To remove the mirror assembly, remove the door panel and unplug the mirror electrical connector. Next you must remove the trim panel and rubber cover, if present, then the screws and clips; this allows for the mirror assembly to be removed. For installation, place the mirror assembly, secure the screws and clips before installing the rubber cover and plugging the electrical connector. Finally reinstall the door panel. For the mirror glass, squeeze the bottom edge to expose the gear in the slot at the bottom and force the cogs with a small screwdriver to the right and blow the mirror glass off. To insert the new glass, you should align the assembly lugs on the back, depress the lower edge, and turn the cogs to the left to make sure that the new glass is in place.
