How to remove the Intake Manifold and Valve Cover for 2.0 and 2.4 litre 5-cylinder diesel engine on 2009 Volvo S40?

To remove the intake manifold, remove the plastic engine cover, detach fuel pipes and injectors and remove the air inlet pipe. Disconnect the breather hose, undo the oil filler neck bolts and disconnect the camshaft position sensor. Finally, take the manifold off and put it back on by reversing the steps.
