How to remove and refit the clutch master cylinder and associated components on 2008 Volvo S40?

In order to take out the battery, undo three bolts of battery box followed by removal of the battery. Unscrew the clutch position sensor, hydraulic fluid pipe, and the pedal parts. Take out the master cylinder by turning it anti-clockwise. Refit by working backwards making sure all fasteners are tight and the clutch works properly.
