How to replace the crankshaft seal on the right-hand and left-hand sides for GDI engine on 2004 Volvo V40?

In order to remove the right hand seal, one has to take away the timing belt, undercarriage the engine, and cut the engine speed sensor. Remove the old seal and slide off the crankshaft sprocket. Wipe, grease and install the new cover. Reassemble the components. In the case of the left-hand seal, take out the flywheel and repeat the same.
