How to remove and refit an alternator on 2000 Volvo S70?

To remove the alternator, disconnect the negative connection of the battery system, remove the auxiliary drivebelt and remove the wiring multi-plugs and leads. Unscrew the mounting nuts and bolts, and raise the alternator from its bracket. To fit again, do the reverse and reattach the auxiliary drivebelt.
