How to remove and refit a starter motor on 2000 Volvo S70?

In order to access the starter motor, unplug the battery negative wire and the wiring to the solenoid. Detach the rear support bracket and starter motor using unbolts to the transmission bellhousing observing the location of the dowel to be reinstalled. Refitting should be done in reverse order and all the fixings must be in place.
