How to remove the turbocharger on 2000 Volvo S40?

To remove the turbocharger in a 1.6 litre (80kw) engine, remove the catalytic converter, throttle body clamp and air outlet pipe. For the 1.6 litre (85kw) engine remove the particulate filter and air pipe. For the 2.0 litre engine, you have to remove the particulate filter and the engine undershield. Make sure all surfaces are clean when refitting.
