How to remove and install the Trunk Lid Latch lock cylinder on 1991 Volvo 780?

To disconnect the lock cylinder, disconnect the negative battery cable. For 4-door models, open the trunk and remove clips to the lock. For wagons, remove the trim of the liftgate. Unconnect the lock rod and remove the retaining bolt and clip and then the lock. Reinstall by reversing the steps.
