    To detach the interior mirror, prise apart the two halves of the cover over the mirror base/sensor. Disconnect the mirror wiring plug if applicable, and twist the mirror base 90 degrees to detach it from the windscreen. Note that some models may have an Electronic Compass that requires recalibration upon refitting.

    How do you remove the door mirror glass for the 2007 Volvo V50? Posted by Customer

    To remove the door mirror glass, pivot it into the mirror housing as far as possible on the lower edge. Then, use a blunt, flat-bladed tool to prise the glass from the mounting at the upper edge, taking care not to apply excessive force to avoid breaking the glass. Disconnect the wiring plugs as the glass is withdrawn.
