    To remove the module, the following steps are taken. Remove the steering wheel. Unscrew the Torx screws from the steering column lower shroud. Unclip the gaiter. Separate the upper and lower shrouds. Remove the wiper/washer and turn indicator switches to access the module. Detach the module by undoing screws and disconnecting wiring plugs.
