Complete the closure of the window, liberate the window sealing strip from its guide at the back of the window, and remove the retaining screw from the base of the guide before maneuvering it from the window through the aperture in the door. Position the window so you can get to the bolts holding the glass to the regulator and remove the two bolts from holding the glass to the regulator, lift the glass up and tape it to the top of the door frame. Remove the retaining bolts holding the regulator assembly to the door and disconnect the wiring connector if needed and then maneuver the regulator assembly out through the door aperture. For the rear door, remove the door lock inner handle, the trim panel supporting bracket, and the insulation panel, make sure to renew this part if it is damaged. Tape the window for access to the bolts, carry the glass up and tape it in place. Remove the retaining bolts for the regulator assembly and disconnect the wiring connector if necessary, and maneuver the assembly out. For both front and rear windows, remove the inner sealing strips by unclipping and freeing the windows from their guides, and maneuvering them out. During refitting, be sure to correctly locate all sealing strips, engage the window glass with its guides and install all bolts hand tight prior to tightening bolts to specified torque. Check the seat of the window in the door frame and make minor adjustments if needed, then firmly fit the insulation panel and install the inside trim panel.
