How to change the Tail Light bulbs on Volvo 244?

To replace bulbs you undecap lens assembly by removing the four retaining screws. Disconnect the leads from the inside of the boot and remove the defective bulb. When fitting the lens back make sure the seal is positioned.

How can the tail light bulbs be accessed and renewed in the load area on Volvo 245?

The bulbs are accessible from within the load area. To renew the bulb on the left-hand side, unclip the side cover and remove the spare wheel. For the right-hand side, lift the floor cover, then unclip and remove the side trim panel. Turn the bulbholder anti-clockwise to remove it; the bulb is of bayonet fitting type.
