To remove the switch, you first need to unscrew it from the front of the cylinder block. Park the vehicle on firm and level ground, open the bonnet and disconnect the battery negative lead. If required, jack the front up and secure it securely on axle stands for easier access to the switch. Undo the 7 Torx Screws and remove the engine undershield. Disconnect the wiring connector from the switch and unscrew it, being ready for some oil loss. For refitting, do the reverse process of removal and apply a thin smear of suitable sealant on the threads of the switch and tighten it to the specified torque wrench setting. Afterwards, check the engine oil level and top up if necessary, and check for signs of oil leaks after the engine is restarted and warmed up to normal operating temperature.
