How to remove the complete unit fixed to the dashboard with the A/C Switch on Volvo 244?

The complete unit is fixed to the dashboard with three nuts. To remove it, first take out the panel below the dashboard and then free the cables from the heater unit and control valve. Pull the illuminating lamp and holders out of the unit, leaving them suspended in the wiring, undo the nuts and lift out the unit. Check that the wheels and cables are operating freely, oil where necessary, and replace any damaged or worn parts.

Pull the illuminating lamp and holders out of the unit, leaving them suspended in the wiring, undo the nuts and lift out the unit. Check that the wheels and cables are operating freely, oil where necessary, and replace any damaged or worn parts.
