How to remove and replace the radiator on Volvo 244?

Drain the cooling system, then remove the two screws that hold the fan shroud in place and move the shroud backwards. Loosen the top radiator hose from the radiator and the expansion tank hoses from the radiator. For cars that have automatic transmission, remove the oil pipes from the radiator and blank-off the pipes. Remove the two radiator holders (radiator retainers), and lift out the radiator. The replacement of the radiator follows the opposite order of removal. Fill the cooling system and run the engine at normal running temperature and check for leaks at the hose joints.
