How to remove the Center Console on 2011 Volvo V50?

In order to take off the console, set the handbrake, put the car into neutral, lower the front seats, and disconnect the battery. For early models, the gaiter on the handbrake must be lifted, the audio panel removed and wiring disconnected. On later models, detach bottom facia, audio panel and screws and disconnect wiring to draw out the console.
