How to remove and refit the Camshaft, Rocker Arm and Valve Lifter for 2.0 and 2.4 litre 5-cylinder diesel engine on 2010 Volvo V50?

Remove the camshaft by removing the oil seal, high pressure fuel pump and inlet manifold. Remove the timing cover bolt and camshaft bearing cap bolts and mark their position. Gradually eliminate the tension and then remove the camshafts and valve lifters for inspection. Refit parts, making sure that they are lubricated and have correct torque specification.
