Where is the knock sensor located, and How to remove and reinstall it on 2009 Volvo S40?

In the case of 1.8 and 2.0 litre, the knock sensor is underneath the intake manifold. Take away the manifold, unplug the sensor and record its location to be reassembled in. In 2.4 litre models, the air cleaner should be removed, sensor positions observed. Install sensors properly and use correct tightening bolt to prevent engine damage.
