How to remove and refit the steering rack and pinions on 2008 Volvo S40?

To remove the steering rack, park the car with straight wheels, lock the steering and remove the lower facia panel. Remove joint of steering column, front wheels and driveshaft. Remove the subframe, bring it down and remove the steering rack. Refit using new seals and bolts, and ensure proper alignment and torque.
