To get rid of the sump, you have to take off the timing belt and then the oil pump pick-up tube and discard the oil seal. Remove oil pump, clean surfaces and apply silicone sealant. Refit oil pump with new seal, tighten bolts, and reattaching pick-up tube, by reversing the process.
