How to remove and refit the ball joint and control arm on 2006 Volvo S80?

To remove the control arm, loosen wheel bolts, chock rear wheels and lift the vehicle. Remove the roadwheel and undershield of the engine. Undo balljoint nut and then remove the control arm. Clean and inspect it, replacing any parts that are damaged. Refit by reversing the steps of removal and tightening to specified torque.
