How to replace the air filter element for petrol engines on 2006 Volvo S80?

Unplug the mass airflow meter on the air filter cover. Remove the cover and air filter. Clean the housing and then fit the new filter in properly. Reconnect the cover, making sure the hinges fit right into place, and snap it into place with the clips.
