Turn the engine clockwise, remove the cylinder head cover and set No 1 cylinder to TDC Access the timing chain tensioner, compress it and lock the guide rail. Remove camshaft sprockets and bearing caps and check for wear and measure. Reassemble with correct torque and make sure that there are no pistons at TDC.
