To dismantle the strut remove the plastic cap and strut mounting nut. Use Spring Compressors on the coil springs, and remove the piston nut and other parts. Inspect for wear and leakage - renewing as necessary. To reassemble, reverse the procedure, and make sure torque is put on all nuts.
