How to remove and refit the Trunk Lid Latch assembly and lock button assembly from the tailgate on 2000 Volvo V40?

To eliminate the lock assembly, open the tailgate, unscrew the handle, unclip the inside trim and unhook the link rod. For the lock button assembly, remove the trim, unscrew the number plate, unscrew wiring and remove the light unit. Refit in reverse order and making sure to engage and adjust properly.
