Drain the engine oil and remove the oil filter and pump. Rotate the crankshaft to position the pistons halfway down. Undo the oil pan bolts, tap it free, and recover O-ring seals. Remove the oil pick-up pipe and undo the intermediate section bolts, then lift it off with the crankshaft oil seal.
