To get rid of the turbocharger, disconnect the battery, drain the cooling system and remove heat shields. Disconnect hoses and pipes and then unbolt the turbocharger from the exhaust manifold. Lift it out, taking note of locations of hose. For the refitting, just do the same steps in reverse, with appropriate sealing and torque requirements. Refill the cooling system afterwards.
