How to remove the Center Console on 2000 Volvo S70?

To take off the console, disconnect the battery negative lead and put the gear lever in the neutral position. To start, the coin holder tray should be prized out, connections to heated seat switches disconnected and the oddments tray removed for access to the screws. Carefully remove the trim panel, wiring and console (slide backwards).
