To remove the air cleaner housing for D5244 T to T3 engines, disconnect the mass airflow meter plug, slacken the clamp and remove the outlet hose. For D5244 T4 to T7 engines, the ECM, mass airflow meter and vacuum valve clamps must be removed before pulling the housing upwards. Refitting is the opposite process.
