Remove the battery negative lead, and various panels, and components such as the radio and glove compartment. Disconnect wiring, hoses and screws associated with the heater unit. Dismantle the unit, and then reassemble it in reverse order, with sealing compound. For pre-1980 models, adapt the casing and wiring to the new fan motor.
