How to disconnect the battery earth terminal and remove the Windshield Wiper Motors on 1988 Volvo 244?

Disconnect the battery earth and take off the wiper arms. Remove the under-dash panel and demister hoses, unconnect the leads from the wiper motor, remove the securing screws and linkage and pull the motor out of the panel. Refit by reversing these steps.
