How to remove and refit the steering gear and trackrods using Rack And Pinions on 1985 Volvo 245?

To remove the rack and pinions, remove the clamp bolt of the universal shaft joint flange, lift the car and remove the wheels. Disconnect the trackrod end ball joints and splash guard, unscrew the bolts on the rack and pinions and remove the assembly. Refit in reverse order, making sure to check wheel alignment.
