How to remove and replace the distributor on 1985 Volvo 245?

Start by taking off the distributor cap from the OHC engine. Dislodge the low tension lead and vacuum hose. On fuel injected vehicles, disconnect the triggering contact leads. Remove the bolts on the flanges and remove the distributor. After replacing, reattach the cap, reconnect leads and redock the vacuum hose.
