To begin, remove the distributor cap located on the OHC engine. Next, disconnect the low tension lead and the vacuum hose from the distributor. For vehicles with a fuel injection system, disconnect the leads from the triggering contact assembly. Unscrew and remove the flange bolts, then withdraw the distributor from the engine. After replacing the distributor, reattach the distributor cap, reconnect the low tension lead and the triggering contact lead if applicable, and finally, refit the vacuum hose to the vacuum capsule.
