    Removing the outer handle simplifies the process, but the lock cylinder can also be accessed without it by removing the plastic cover plate. Prize off the end cover around the lock cylinder and recover the seal, then prise up the retaining clip and withdraw the lock cylinder, noting the orientation of the slot for the retaining clip.
