How to disconnect the interior rear door lock plunger rod and remove the rear window guide channel screws on Volvo 245?

Carry out the operations by disconnecting the interior lock plunger rod by removal of the locking clip. Next, take the screw out of the rear window guide channel and the lock fixing screws which are all located on the back edge of the door. If it needs to be removed, the exterior handle can be removed after the securing screws are removed. For refitting, follow the removal procedure in reverse, being sure to adjust the rod for the exterior handle so that there will be a clearance between the pullrod eyelet and the pin in the lock lever of 0.04 in (1 mm).
