How to remove and service the outer CV Joint Boot on the driveshaft on 2010 Volvo V50?

Remove the driveshaft and for automatics, measure the distance from the end of the shaft to the edge of the damper before pressing the damper off. Inspect outer joint, replace worn out parts and use a repair kit to grease pack and gaiter fit. Refit the driveshaft and lube the gaiter after this.
