To remove lower shaft from steering rack pinion, use ratchet and socket to remove pinch bolt. Remove the trim panel, undo the universal joint pinch-bolt and remove the rubber boot. Refit by lining up the universal joint, tightening the new take pinch-bbolt and reassembling components.
