  A: To remove the hood it is necessary to first open the hood, prise out the two plastic caps and disconnect the tubes from the base of the washer jets, drawing the tubing back through the hood and releasing it from the retaining clip. If relevant, remove the wiring plugs from the washer jet and pull the loom from the hood. Mark around the hinge bracket on the underside of the hood with a felt tip pen for reference when re-fitting. With help, support the hood and undo the bolts on the hinge making some alignment marks between the hinge and the hood before undoing the bolts. Lift off the hood and put it away safely. For refitting, put pads of rags under the corners of the hood close to the hinges to protect paintwork. Fit the hood and put in the hinge bolts, nipping them up in their previously marked positions. Reconnect the washer tube and wiring plugs, and then close the face covering (hood) and check its fit. (Adjust where needed by slackening the bolts and moving the hood). When the adjustment is right, firmly tighten the hinge bolts.
