How to remove and refit the Hood Release Cable assembly on 2000 Volvo S70?

The hood release cable assembly is made up of two sections, one which connects the release handle to the hood lock, the other connects the hood locks. To remove it, disconnect the inner hood release cable, pull it through the grommet and disconnect the other end. For refitting, you do it backwards and you must allow for slack.
