Volvo 9207906 Exhaust Manifold, Driver Side

For non-turbocharged engines, follow these steps. Remove the engine cross-stay between the front suspension brackets. Detach the preheating pipe from the heat shield. Remove the heat shield. Loosen the front left-hand roadwheel nuts, jack up the vehicle securely, and remove the roadwheel. Remove the engine undershield. Release the oxygen sensor wiring. Undo the nuts securing the front exhaust section to the manifold. Remove the screws securing the crossmember under the exhaust pipe. Release the brake pipe from the clips. Carefully push the front section of the exhaust pipe rearwards off the manifold studs, taking care not to damage the oxygen sensor wiring. Finally, undo the nuts and remove the manifold upwards from the engine compartment, discarding the gaskets for new ones.
